Cultivate Compassion

We invite you to Cultivate Compassion: A charity event to raise funds for the Matahari Terbit Center. 

We are asking you, one and all, to come along and help us with our cause. Join the world...hand in hand for children with physical and mental disabilities.

We are throwing a great event on Thursday the 31st of July, at the one and only Straw Hut. 
We invite you to come with open hearts, minds, and wallets :) 100% of profits from the event will be given to the center to help enrich the lives of these amazing children in need. 

The event will include:
- Art Exhibition with silent auction from amazing artists from our community
- Mini Fashion Showing with live auction from our favoured retail stores around Bali
- Raffle draw with AMAZING prizes sponsored by:
Waterbom, Biasa, Paul Ropp, Kalyan, Gaia Oasis, Straw, and Villa Pantai Seminyak


What you need to know:
- The Straw Hut Is the place to be!
- Doors open at 6pm
- Entrance fee 150.000 Rp.
- Complimentary Finger Foods provided
- Meals and Hard drinks available for sale by Straw Hut

Excitements & Amusements at MTC :)

Kegiatan MTC 10 Mei kemarin, kita menyaksikan begitu banyak keceriaan yang kami lihat bersama anak2, dimana hari itu kita menikmati “Kelas Sirkus” ditambah lagi dengan Jacob dan Revo yang merayakan ulang tahunnya di MTC. Sungguh ceria dan menyenangkan. Di Kelas Sirkus, anak2 MTC begitu semangat berpartisipasi, dimana sangat baik untuk menambah kepercayaan diri dan melatih emosional. Di ujung aktivitas, Jacob dan Revo terlihat senang sekali karena semua yang hadir hari itu merayakan ulang tahun mereka. Selain itu kita juga sejalan dengan kegiatan art & craft, hydrotherapy. Dan semua menikmati waktu termasuk staff, volunteer, orang tua dan anak2 MTC merasakan manfaat dan enjoy saat kegiatan MTC.

At the latest MTC activity (May 10th), we saw enthusiasm in children’s eyes as we had our first “Circus Class”, and also a special day for both Jacob and Revo the birthday boys. In the circus class, MTC children willingly participate in the activities, which is good for their physical development. So playful and full of fun. At the tip of the activity, Jacob and Revo were excited to blow the candle as everyone celebrated their birthday. During the activity hours, the art & craft, hydrotherapy went well and we know that another day spent well for the children’s development,as it was very enjoyable for children & their family, MTC staffs and volunteers.
